Job summary

Farmers National Bank is seeking a Branch Manager in Ohio to direct the overall activities of the branch and lead a team toward achieving branch goals. You will conduct outreach to generate new business, train staff on bank products, and ensure compliance with loan policies while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, NMLS certification, and at least three years of branch management experience; college degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Branch Manager or equivalent management experience.
• NMLS certification is required or obtained upon hire.
• High School diploma or GED is required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall activities of the branch to achieve four objectives: serve customers at a superior level and meet branch goals while earning a fair return.
• Lead staff to acquire productive, diverse, and creative employees with growth opportunities.
• Conduct regular calls on business prospects to generate new customers and cross-sell services.
• Train staff on product features and benefits to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
• Open and explain services for all types of accounts and manage lending processes within authority.
• Interview loan applicants and extend credit per policy; escalate larger loans to Senior Officers as needed.
