Job summary

Farmers National Banc Corp. in Ohio is seeking a senior leader to supervise a team of relationship managers for commercial lending, treasury management and small business lending.

You will coach staff in sales technique, credit analysis and performance management while pursuing personal production and referral goals. Responsibilities include leading lending teams, participating in the Executive Loan Committee, monitoring portfolio risk, and cross-selling bank services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance.
• Minimum eight years of experience in commercial lending.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet navigation/research, and Outlook.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of lending personnel in Commercial Lending, Small Business and Treasury Management
• Provide input towards production goal setting, performance management and recruitment/hiring
• Participate as a permanent member of Executive Loan Committee
• Prepare and present reports detailing team and individual goals/achievements
• Serve as a point of contact regarding client issues and questions
• Sell business products and services to commercial customers and prospects as opportunities occur
• Analyze credit worthiness of commercial borrowers to decision requests
• Provide approval authority for Commercial Loan requests generated from Retail
• Monitor risk in loan portfolio to identify changes and minimize credit risk
• Cross-sell other Bank services to existing and prospective customers
• Interact with operational and technical areas to resolve problems
• Adhere to all appropriate service standards
• Draft sales proposals, commitment letters, and make sales presentations
• Complete mandatory training including BSA and Anti-Money laundering procedures
