Job summary
Columbia Bank in Colfax, WA is seeking a Branch Assistant Manager who works with the Branch Manager to drive day-to-day operational excellence, supervise tellers, and deliver Breakthrough Client Service.
You will process transactions, open accounts, cross-sell services, and coach staff to deepen customer relationships while ensuring audits and branch controls are met.
This role requires leadership, retail banking experience, and the ability to multi-task in a busy community bank.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
- 2 years of retail banking experience required.
- 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
- 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience preferred.
- Customer service background in retail or banking.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Branch Manager to attain branch goals and ensure operational excellence.
- Supervise and lead Tellers; back up personal banking team for new accounts and loan requests.
- Provide Breakthrough Client Service and cross-sell bank services.
- Process and oversee transactions, wire transfers, and branch controls; monitor audits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with consumers and businesses in the local community.
