Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to work onsite in Denver. You will supervise Tellers, assist the Branch Manager, and drive Breakthrough Client Service while processing transactions and opening accounts.

You will coach staff to deepen customer relationships, cross-sell banking products, and support daily branch operations. A strong retail banking background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail banking experience required.
• 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Customer service background in retail or banking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead Tellers; back up personal banking team for account openings and loan requests.
• Process and oversee branch operations: opening/closing, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers, stop payments, branch controls.
• Provide Breakthrough Client Service; deepen customer relationships; coach team to meet sales/service goals.
• Cross-sell bank products and refer clients to other departments as appropriate.
• Assist in achieving branch and Bank goals and ensure satisfactory audits.
