Job summary

Ameris Bank is looking for a Branch Manager to oversee operations and coach a team to meet sales and service objectives. The role focuses on planning branch functions, ensuring compliance, and driving growth with existing customers and new prospects.

You will lead trainings, manage performance, and maintain customer experience while protecting branch assets. A Bachelor’s degree and retail banking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years retail banking experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory or mentoring experience.
• Branch operations experience and cross-selling exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach branch team to achieve sales and service goals.
• Plan and direct branch operations ensuring compliance and customer service standards.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff; optimize resource use.
• Drive commercial deposit growth with warm prospects and existing customers.
• Maintain branch safety, security, audit readiness, and policy adherence.
