Job summary

Har-co Credit Union in Bel Air, MD seeks an AVP/Branch Manager to drive branch growth, lead staff through coaching, and deliver exceptional member service. The role partners with local networks to exceed sales and service goals while upholding the Member Experience Pledge.

The position entails hands-on leadership, operational oversight, and cross-selling expertise to strengthen member relationships and overall profitability.

Qualifications

• Five years of management experience.
• Five years of customer service and sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and supervisory abilities.
• Ability to manage multi-functional tasks and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations including cash management and audits.
• Interview, hire and train new employees.
• Coach staff to support career growth and achieve targets.
• Build and maintain strong member relationships.
• Develop strategies to meet loan, deposit, and membership goals.
• De-escalate member concerns with active listening and problem solving.
• Ensure adequate staffing and timely completion of tasks.
• Perform member service, teller, or related duties as needed.
• Complete projects and duties assigned by management.
