Job summary

Bellco is seeking a Branch Manager to lead customer relationships across retail, small business banking, and community development while driving branch profitability and operations excellence.

You will supervise staff, coach performance, ensure accurate processing and compliance, recruit talent, and uphold Bellco’s core values in every member interaction.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, risk management, and collaboration with regional leadership to meet corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years financial services experience.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience including the MIT program.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members and staff.
• Responsible for overall branch financial results, operations effectiveness, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
• Gains and maintains a strong knowledge of Bellco products and services and can accurately enter and complete transactions, loan applications and account openings in Bellco systems.
• Conducts daily huddles and monthly one-on-ones with branch staff.
• Evaluates, develops, motivates and trains branch personnel, coaches staff in sales and service activities.
• Recruits, hires, trains and navigates performance issues, mitigates risk through leadership and guidance of decisions within the branch.
• Supports company messages and initiatives; takes ownership of tough conversations and advocates for change.
• Manages losses and risk, ensures regulatory compliance and adherence to procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of lending processes, security and fraud procedures, and branch operations.
• Conducts ongoing analysis of branch activities to meet corporate goals and develops new policies and procedures.
