Job summary

United Community in the United States is seeking a Branch Leader to drive growth and profitability while mentoring branch staff. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff performance, and ensure exceptional customer service across all branch functions.

You will lead business development efforts, maintain regulatory compliance, and cultivate customer relationships through proactive outreach. The role requires flexible scheduling and strong leadership in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years banking experience.
• Consumer/Residential lending experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication and supervisory skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Consumer and Small Business Lending Operations, Teller and CSR functions, bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall management, growth and profitability of branch.
• Cross-trained on all functions within the branch.
• Oversees day-to-day management of facility, staff and operations.
• Uses reports to maximize results for branch and staff.
• Maximizes branch revenues, sales, customer satisfaction, and CSP scores while controlling losses.
• Participates in hiring, onboarding, and supervising staff; coaches performance.
• Communicates and monitors goals to staff.
• Assists in creation of branch business plan and growth initiatives.
• Engages in business development and outreach to grow the branch.
• Performs business calling and sales programs.
• Maintains sales activities using 360 View.
• Develops a diversified loan and deposit portfolio; aligns with campaign focus.
• Represents the branch in the community and manages public relations.
• Ensures controls per policies and procedures.
