Job summary

Liberty Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Connecticut to oversee daily branch operations and deliver outstanding customer service while driving branch sales and market share growth.

You will coach teammates, build new relationships, and collaborate with the Branch Manager to achieve strategic goals across the branch network. Knowledge of regulatory compliance and customer-centric service is essential.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year sales management experience in Retail and/or Financial Services.
• Strong people leadership skills: ability to engage, motivate and develop teammates.
• Ability to coach and mentor teammates to achieve sales goals and objectives.
• Ability to develop new and existing business relationships, including disciplined weekly business calling as expected.
• Ability to think strategically and assist the Branch Manager to execute on direction, priorities, and goals of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving, decision making and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily branch operations, providing comprehensive and prompt retail services; participates in daily operational and business development activities to achieve customer service and business growth objectives.
• Satellite Assistant Branch Managers will conduct weekly pre-scheduled in-person business calls to acquire and deepen new and existing business relationships.
• Achieves individual sales goals through knowledge of all banking products and services, teammate coaching, consistent behaviors and accountability.
• Manages account/deposit portfolios of the assigned branch; maintains strong relationships with top customers and seeks to grow and retain these relationships.
• Implements strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses within the branch budget.
• Ensures audit controls and regulatory compliance to protect the Bank from risk and exposure.
