Job summary

Liberty Bank is seeking a Universal Banker in Connecticut to lead and deliver exceptional customer experiences as a first contact for clients. You will build deep relationships through discovery conversations, balance multiple banking transactions, and promote digital channels while supporting branch sales and operations.

This role emphasizes collaboration within the branch and with cross-departmental resources to resolve issues, meet sales goals, and participate in community events.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months Retail Banking or equivalent Sales experience.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and other related applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to ask questions and identify needs to enhance the customer relationship.
• Attention to detail and the ability to execute accurately on a variety of policy and procedures.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site Branch Operations Supervisor coverage for various branches as assigned.
• Engages in immediate customer acknowledgment and greeting customers.
• Adheres to customer service standards and provides a differentiated experience.
• Resolves account service issues and responds to customer inquiries promptly.
• Balances and processes customer transactions in daily cash balancing.
• Educates customers on digital banking and alternative delivery channels.
• Supports branch sales and operations goals and community initiatives.
• Participates in community events to build relationships for the bank.
