Job summary

Renasant Bank is seeking a Head Teller in Buford, GA to drive a best-in-class branch experience. You will lead, coach, and manage customer engagement, service execution, and operational excellence while upholding bank policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years cash handling experience, including Teller experience.
• Minimum of 1 year leadership experience.
• Minimum of 1 year customer experience in a sales environment preferred.
• Proven leadership, sales management, and coaching experience.
• Ability to achieve individual and team sales and customer experience results.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work cooperatively in a team.
• Attention to detail with accuracy in handling transactions.
• Comfortable using various software to process transactions.
• Proven time management and organizational skills with multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel for training and between branches.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coach the teller engagement process with each Teller to ensure seamless service and sales opportunities.
• Maintain and role model service knowledge standards in line with regulations and procedures.
• Process customer transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs, checks).
• Balance daily operations, supplies, ATM, vault, and branch capture procedures.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate platform for needs-based conversation.
• Follow compliance, risk, and operational procedures to protect the bank.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly branch assessments.
• Mentor and onboard new Tellers; ensure training completion.
• Participate in interviewing, selecting and training teammates.
• Supervise Tellers and provide override approvals; oversee daily staff and balancing.
• Lead sales, service and operations meetings with Branch Manager/Asst Manager; include security meetings.
• Support employee performance assessments and coaching for improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
