Job summary

Renasant Bank is seeking a Senior Teller to drive a best-in-class branch experience through accurate transactions, service excellence, and sales referrals. You will balance cash, process deposits and withdrawals, and support daily branch operations while upholding policy and risk controls.

The role requires at least one year of teller experience and strong communication skills. You will mentor teammates, back up head teller when needed, and work in a fast-paced environment focused on customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year teller experience and/or previous cash handling experience preferred.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and identify opportunities while processing transactions.
• 10-Key skills.
• Mathematical skills for counting cash and coin.
• Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of bank products and the ability to learn solutions.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payoffs and official checks.
• Recognize customer needs and refer to appropriate platform for needs-based conversations.
• Execute bank service standards in every interaction.
• Address customer issues or refer to a branch teammate as needed.
• Maintain service knowledge and adhere to regulations and procedures.
• Support daily operations including balancing, supplies ordering, ATM/vault balancing, and branch capture procedures.
• Mitigate risk by following compliance and risk procedures.
• Stay updated on Teller and branch policies.
• Assist Head Teller with operational procedures and quarterly branch assessments.
• Mentor and role-model for teller teammates.
