Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Branch Operations Lead to be at the heart of daily branch functions and client interactions in Alexandria, VA. You will partner with the Branch Manager to ensure accurate transactions, strong loss control, and adherence to policies while guiding a team focused on service excellence.

You will guide clients to self-service options, build lasting relationships, and educate both clients and staff on procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven leadership and operational proficiency in branch settings.
• Ability to educate and inform branch team and partners.
• Strong client engagement and ability to refer to experts.
• 1+ years of retail banking experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere in the branch, ensuring every client enjoys an exceptional experience and feels part of a dynamic community.
• Greet clients warmly as they enter the branch, assisting with transactions, managing lobby flow, and scheduling meetings to build trusted relationships.
• Engage clients with clear, polite communication to understand and help them effectively, checking them into the waiting queue for a smooth visit.
• Lead branch operations, including managing cash devices like the cash vault and ATM, and resolve issues while adhering to bank policies.
• Introduce clients to the branch team to deliver seamless service and assist with specialized financial needs, elevating the client experience.
• Promote self-service options to simplify banking and enable 24/7 access to accounts.
• Support all branch operations, including loss control, compliance, and audits to ensure secure and smooth functioning.
