Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring Branch Coordinators to provide outstanding customer service to patients and caregivers by phone and in person, ensuring orders are received, processed accurately and timely. You will collaborate with patients, providers and team members, help verify insurance, collect payments, and support billing to ensure services are billed correctly.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and problem solving while delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• Two years’ experience in an office environment, healthcare setting or call center (preferred).
• Experience utilizing multi-line phone system.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system; provide information and resolve issues.
• Process branch duties: create and manage orders, review systems, confirm deliveries, verify insurance, obtain authorizations; monitor faxes and data entry.
• Greet patients, gather documentation to bill health insurance plans, and collect payments.
• Support outbound patient satisfaction calls and occasional device Downloads or tests.
