Job summary

Accendra Health's Branch Coordinators deliver exceptional customer service by phone and in person. You will ensure orders are received and processed timely, help obtain insurance authorizations, and liaise with patients, providers and the branch team to support accurate billing.

You will handle payments and daily reconciliations, gather documentation for claims, and contribute to a smooth patient experience across care channels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year related work experience.
• Two years’ experience in an office environment, healthcare setting or call center preferred.
• Experience utilizing a multi-line phone-system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system and provide information.
• Process branch duties: create orders, review systems, confirm deliveries, verify insurance, obtain authorization per payor guidelines.
• Work with sales team, referrals and patients to gather documentation for insurance.
• Review patient accounts and bill health insurance plans with necessary documentation.
• Collect payments, reconcile receivables, and submit to lock box.
• Make outbound patient and referral satisfaction calls.
• May download data from monitoring devices and perform basic equipment tests.
• Perform other duties as required.
