Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring Branch Coordinators to deliver outstanding customer service by phone and in person. You will work closely with patients, providers, and the branch team to ensure orders are received, processed promptly, and accurately, supporting Accendra’s mission to improve care at home.

You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, bill health plans, collect payments, and help patients maximize benefits while keeping the workflow efficient and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system; provide information and resolve issues.
• Create and manage orders, review systems, confirm delivery appointments, verify insurance, and obtain authorization.
• Work with sales team, referrals and patients to gather documentation to meet insurance guidelines.
• Review patient accounts and bill health insurance plans.
• Collect credit card payments and reconcile daily receivables.
• Perform outbound patient and referral satisfaction calls.
• May download data from recording devices and perform functional tests on equipment.
• May perform other duties as required.
