Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Branch Coordinator to positively impact patients and caregivers by phone and in person, ensuring timely and accurate order processing and insurance documentation. You will support billing processes to ensure proper payment for services and assist in coordinating with the branch team.

The role involves handling calls, processing orders, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, and supporting the billing cycle.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one-year related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system and provide information to patients.
• Process branch duties: create and manage orders, review multiple systems, confirm deliveries, verify insurance and obtain authorization per payor guidelines.
• Collect documentation to bill health insurance plans and maximize patient benefits.
• Collect payments and reconcile daily receivables.
• Conduct outbound patient satisfaction calls.
• May download data from recording devices and perform basic tests on equipment.
