Job summary

AEG is seeking a Production Manager for Austin West Riverside to lead all production-related aspects of assigned events. You will oversee budgets, coordinate technical elements, and ensure execution meets contractual and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in live event production, strong budgeting skills, and proven leadership. The role requires flexibility for long hours and weekend work in a dynamic entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (4‑year) in a related field.
• 4–6 years of related professional experience; experience in budgets and music industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of technical aspects of concert and live event production.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve logistical and technical challenges.
• Strong ability to create, manage, and maintain event production budgets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with ability to learn additional systems.
• Previous management experience with conflict resolution and team leadership.
• Performs well under pressure in fast‑paced environments.
• Flexible to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend as primary technical liaison for the venue and estimate show costs.
• Coordinate all technical aspects including artist/client logistics and day-of-show schedule.
• Manage contracts, budget adherence, and track production expenses.
• Communicate advance information to all personnel, vendors, and artists.
• Oversee day-of-show production and supervise staff; ensure breaks and meals per local rules.
• May handle show settlement and ensure artists are paid; close out show with accounting.
• Recruit, hire, train production staff; schedule and manage payroll.
• Maintain assets with preventative maintenance schedules and inventories.
• Represent production management at other locations or projects as directed.
