Job summary

The Box Office Attendant at AEG Presents is responsible for informing guests about locations, events, seating, and pricing options, and for processing ticket orders and payments.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, accuracy in cash handling, upselling opportunities, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with nights and weekends required.

This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and the chance to contribute to a dynamic live-entertainment team at one of our venues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication with customers and co-workers.
• Basic Math skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently processes orders for and collect payments from guests.
• Follow cash handling and inventory procedures to ensure security of assets and inventory.
• Greet customers with a positive and friendly demeanor. Assist guests by providing information, answering questions and processing requests.
• Resolve customer concerns by providing superior customer service, escalating to supervisor when needed.
• Provide upselling opportunities to similar events by demonstrating knowledge of upcoming events.
• Contribute to team dynamics by assisting coworkers, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a positive work environment.
