Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Miami Beach is looking for a friendly Guest Service Agent to check guests in and out, manage PBX, and handle mail and messages while delivering outstanding service. You’ll act as an advocate for the hotel, create memorable experiences, and develop relationships with guests that encourage repeat visits.

You’ll coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet to ensure seamless stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior front desk or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable about local area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure with many arrivals and departures.
• Familiar with hotel systems and accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Register and check out guests in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
• Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably.
• Review arrivals and block rooms as needed.
• Open, secure, and balance daily shift cash and transactions.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet.
