Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Front Office leader to oversee all front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth check-in/check-out experiences. You will lead by example and drive a culture of hospitality that reflects our boutique, people-focused standard.

You will coach staff, monitor service levels, manage schedules and payroll, and collaborate with other departments to create a warm, memorable stay for every guest.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related hospitality experience.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with staff to get pertinent information at the start of shift and review the Front Desk logbook.
• Review all arrivals and departures and note any special requests or challenges; ensure accurate billing.
• Ensure shifts are covered as scheduled and payroll/expense budgets are monitored.
• Follow key control, credit policies and be knowledgeable of fire and emergency procedures.
• Ensure completion of the desk agents' AM/PM checklists; maintain front desk organization and grooming standards.
• Coach employees and lead by example while maintaining professional communications with other hotel departments.
