Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants seeks a Conference Services Manager to bridge hotel operations and client needs, driving revenue through food & beverage, room rentals, and event services.

You will coordinate meetings and events, prepare conference profiles, and lead internal meetings to ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction. The role includes client tours, post-conference reporting, and meticulous space management.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience in hospitality industry with solid knowledge of food + beverage and meeting room sets.
• Strong understanding of property, space, food + beverage offerings and capacities.
• High level of creativity, enthusiasm and flexibility.
• Well organized, detail oriented and excellent follow-up skills.
• Superior writing skills; Delphi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, conferences, exhibits or other events with accurate client and hotel communications.
• Ensure contracted groups meet or exceed revenue targets (food & beverage, room rental).
• Coordinate menu arrangements to maximize revenue while serving the client.
• Obtain conference rooming lists, monitor cut-off dates, and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist conference clients with off-premise (hotel) details.
• Conduct tours for potential and booked clients and provide personable experiences.
• Prepare comprehensive Conference Profile documenting all conference aspects and statistics.
• Prepare and distribute banquet event orders and related reports; maintain space blocks in logs.
