Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants seeks a seasoned restaurant leadership professional to oversee banquet operations and F&B services across events. You will collaborate with culinary and service teams, drive profitability, and mentor managers to achieve targets.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, budget control, staff training, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining brand standards in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Assistant General Manager or similar.
• Level 1 Court of Master Sommelier certification or equivalent.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Attend property meetings and coordinate with property leadership.
• Develop and lead managers within F+B and ensure service standards.
• Understand the property's sales and public relations strategies and align events accordingly.
• Assist the Chef with menu engineering, including seasonal specials.
• Lead planning and execution of major events on and off property.
• Interview, hire, and train staff; manage performance and coaching.
• Collaborate with restaurant, IRD, bar and banquet teams to execute plans.
