Job summary

Books A Million in Ohio is seeking a friendly Bookseller who delivers exceptional customer service and helps shoppers find and purchase books and merchandise. The role combines greeting customers, answering questions, processing orders at the register, and promoting store programs.

You will help stock shelves, maintain clean aisles, and support other departments as needed while upholding loss-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old and able to pass required background screenings.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Able to multitask and operate a cash register.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions and orders, providing friendly service.
• Sell products and promote store programs including memberships and educator programs.
• Balance cash drawer within policy guidelines and assist with POS duties.
• Stock shelves and place products on floor with merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor and assist with inventory and housekeeping.
