Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Plant Operator to maintain safe, environmentally compliant and efficient boiler operation, optimizing combustion, steam flows and emissions. You will monitor emissions data and respond to changing conditions while leading a small team of operators and performing inspections during outages.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a power plant setting or 5 years related experience, with mechanical and math skills, and the ability to pursue ASME licenses.

Qualifications

• Two years in power plant environment as APO or 5 years related power plant experience.
• Mechanical skills for replacing shear pins, valve repacking, and equipment inspections.
• Ability to acquire ASME QRO Provisional license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operations and emissions data.
• Respond to changing conditions to maximize safety, compliance and efficiency.
• Direct and train 2–5 operators and other plant personnel.
• Perform equipment inspections during outages.
• Perform physical duties maintaining boilers and plant equipment.
• Maintain a positive work environment with customers, vendors, and staff.
