WIN Waste Innovations in Saugus, MA is seeking a Utility Operator to oversee operation and inspection of boiler plant systems and related equipment. You will report to the Shift Supervisor and Control Room Operator, ensuring safe, efficient plant performance.

Responsibilities include monitoring pumps, motors, dampers, air compressors, and conveyors, reading meters, and performing water treatment tasks as assigned. You may operate Bobcat or forklift and work overtime during maintenance windows.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills to perform tasks like equipment inspection and repairs.
• Knowledge to operate power plant auxiliary equipment (air compressors, dryers, pumps).
• Ability to read meters, gauges, and report anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect boiler plant systems per operating procedures.
• Monitor auxiliary equipment: pumps, motors, dampers, air compressors, valves.
• Read data from meters/gauges to identify malfunctions or trends.
• Handle ash sampling and water treatment as assigned.
• Operate mobile equipment including Bobcat and forklift as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and report safety issues.
