Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Plant Operator to maintain safe, compliant boiler operation, optimize steam generation, and manage emissions. You will monitor plant data, respond to changing conditions, and lead a small team of operators during shifts and outages.

The role requires power plant experience, mechanical skills, and the ability to obtain ASME QRO Provisional license; Massachusetts facilities demand a 2nd Class Engineer license. A strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years working in a power plant environment or 5 years related experience.
• Mechanical skills for tasks like shear pins, valve repacking, inspections.
• Ability to acquire ASME QRO Provisional license.
• Solid math skills for job functions.
• Knowledge of steam generating power plant operation.
• Massachusetts facilities require a 2nd Class Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operational and emissions data.
• Respond to changing conditions to maximize safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Direct and train 2–5 operators and other plant personnel as required.
• Perform equipment inspections during outages.
• Carry out physical tasks to maintain boilers and equipment.
• Maintain a positive work environment with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
