Qualifications

• Two years working in a power plant environment as an Assistant Plant Operator or comparable position.
• Mechanical skills sufficient to perform equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge and understanding of the operation and control of a steam generating power plant.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant operational and emissions data.
• Detect and respond to changing conditions to maximize safety and efficiency.
• Train and coordinate plant personnel.
