Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage the Energy Center, ensuring safe, timely and cost-effective operation. The role covers 12‑hour rotating shifts and coordination across plant teams.

The ideal candidate holds Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, with CMMS and DCS/PLC experience, and solid communication and time management skills. Join a facility-focused team and support QA, maintenance and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a State of Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Preferred: two-year college or technical/vocational degree, military background, or 3 years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Energy Center safely, timely and cost effectively.
• Communicate with operators to ensure consistent operation across shifts.
• Follow plant policies and procedures.
• Keep plant clean and organized.
• Assist in maintaining and updating operating procedures and training manuals.
• Monitor and control plant operations with DCS & PLC systems.
• Take daily logs on all plant equipment.
• Work with Boilers, Dryers, Water treatment and auxiliary equipment.
• Follow SOPs for Boilers, Dryers, Water treatment, and Auxiliary equipment.
• Field monitor equipment and troubleshoot operation issues.
• Assist with maintenance and cleanliness of process areas.
• Assist with grain handling/shipping and receiving areas.
