Job summary

Essenti Talent is seeking a Boiler Operator to operate the Energy Center of a plant in Minnesota, ensuring maximum production and quality on a 12-hour rotating shift. The role supports safety, policies, and efficiency across the facility.

The successful candidate will hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, have basic MS Office and CMMS skills, and demonstrate strong communication and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Preferred minimum degree from a two-year college or technical/vocational school, military background or 3 years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Energy Center on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Ensure the plant operates safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
• Communicate regularly with all operators to ensure consistency across shifts.
• Follow all plant policies and procedures and keep the plant clean and organized.
• Maintain and update operating procedures and training manuals for process operations.
• Work with plant DCS and PLC control systems.
• Take daily logs on all plant equipment.
• Assist with boilers, dryers, water treatment, and auxiliary equipment.
