Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage the Energy Center operations. The role involves monitoring plant processes, coordinating with operators, and following safety and quality policies on a 12-hour rotating shift.

The ideal candidate will hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, have CMMS and MS Office skills, and possess strong communication and time-management abilities. A two-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Preferred minimum degree from a two year college or a technical/vocational school, military background or 3 years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Energy Center with a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective plant operations.
• Communicate regularly with operators to ensure consistent operation across shifts.
• Follow all plant policies and procedures and keep the plant clean and organized.
• Maintain and update operating procedures and training manuals for process operations.
• Work with plant DCS & PLC control systems and take daily logs of all equipment.
• Assist with maintenance, cleanliness of process areas, and grain handling/shipping areas.
• Participate in QA and plant maintenance programs, and follow safety/environmental procedures.
