Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Boiler Operator to manage the Energy Center operations on a 12-hour rotating shift. The role requires a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license and basic CMMS and MS Office skills, with strong communication and time management abilities.

You will work with DCS/PLC systems, maintain logs, and support maintenance and QA programs. The position emphasizes safety and adherence to plant procedures in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work with a computerized maintenance management system.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Preferred: two-year college/technical/vocational training, military background, or 3 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Energy Center on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
• Ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective plant operation.
• Communicate with operators to maintain consistency across shifts.
• Follow plant policies and procedures; keep plant clean and organized.
• Maintain and update operating procedures and training manuals.
• Work with DCS/PLC control systems; take daily logs.
• Assist with maintenance, grain handling, and related equipment.
• Participate in QA and plant maintenance programs as needed.
• Help with safety, health and environmental program adherence.
