Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks a Boiler Operator to oversee the Energy Center, ensuring maximum production, quality, and safety. The role involves operating complex plant processes, coordinating with shifts, and maintaining procedures to support continuous improvement.

The position requires a Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher, basic MS Office skills, and experience with CMMS, DCS, and PLC systems. Rotating 12-hour shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota 1st Class B Boiler Engineer license or higher.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with a computerized maintenance management system.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Technical/vocational training or 2-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour rotating shifts in the Energy Center.
• Operate the plant safely and cost-effectively.
• Communicate with operators to ensure consistent operation.
• Follow plant policies and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Maintain and update operating procedures and training manuals.
• Monitor DCS/PLC, take daily logs, and assist with equipment like boilers, dryers, water treatment.
• Support QA and maintenance programs and participate in safety initiatives.
