Job summary

MarineMax in Seabrook, TX is seeking a Service Advisor to support the Service Manager, service team, and customers by gathering information and coordinating repairs. You will ensure work is completed correctly and in a timely manner, communicating clearly with customers throughout the process.

You will schedule technicians, use flat-rate guides, obtain approvals, and invoice work orders while maintaining accurate records and professional customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Manager with day-to-day operations, scheduling, and work distribution for technicians.
• Use manufacturer flat rate guides and SSO’s to estimate time for work.
• Coordinate with manufacturer and warranty companies to obtain repairs approvals.
• Greet customers and determine needs, providing clear work order instructions to the technician.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and follow up before close of business.
• Promote additional labor services, parts and accessories to customers.
• Obtain customer signature on every work order and collect payment before releasing the boat.
• Schedule, coordinate and follow up on sublet contractors.
• Inspect quality of work and ensure delivery meets standards.
• Finalize and invoice work orders and maintain timely paperwork.
