West Marine is seeking a Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, assess needs, offer expert product recommendations, and process transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory and displays, auditing pricing, supporting BOPIS and ship-from-store, and ensuring a clean, organized sales floor. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication required.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with merchandise and POS systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to understand needs.
• Provide product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Handle transactions and returns at the register.
