Job summary

West Marine is currently seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience in-store. You will help customers find products, answer questions, and process transactions while maintaining displays and inventory.

The role involves assisting with pricing, customer assistance, and supporting BOPIS operations. Prior boating/retail experience is a plus, and flexible scheduling including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with point-of-sale systems; ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
• Understand customer needs and recommend products.
• Assist with product selection and direct to correct aisle.
• Inform about services and assist with special orders or dropships.
• Handle cash, credit, returns, and register transactions accurately.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and proper displays.
