Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking a Facility Engineer to maintain and improve the BMS system, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance across operations. The role emphasizes planning, coordination with production schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will coach technicians, apply cLEAN tools, and develop system documentation to support GMP and quality goals. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 5 years in pharma or biotech

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; experience in pharma or biotech manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience with HVAC/utilities troubleshooting in pharmaceutical settings.
• Knowledgeable in Siemens BMS – Insight and Historian – InfoCenter; MS Office and SAP proficiency preferred.
• Customer-focused with ability to understand internal/external requirements and drive processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans to maintain and improve the BMS system.
• Coordinate maintenance plans with operations schedules.
• Support IA projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain system documents, specifications, and maintenance plans.
• Coach and train Facility Engineers and Technicians.
• Apply cLEAN tools in problem solving, project and change management.
• Educate BMS users and ensure effective system utilization.
