Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks an experienced engineer to maintain and improve the BMS system to meet current and future customer, business, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include developing IA project ideas, preparing preventive maintenance plans, coordinating with operations, and coaching Facility Engineers and Technicians while applying LEAN methodologies. The role requires strong project management skills and expertise in Siemens BMS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience with HVAC/utilities troubleshooting in pharma/biotech manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Siemens BMS - Insight & Siemens Historian – InfoCenter; proficient in MS Office & SAP.
• Proven project management, planning, organization and execution experience.
• Customer-focused; understands internal/external customer requirements and delivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop & execute plans to maintain & improve BMS system.
• Develop IA project ideas & prepare PPM submittals.
• Schedule & coordinate with operations to execute plans.
• Support IA projects & process improvement plans.
• Develop & maintain system documents, specs & maintenance plans.
• Coach & train Facility Engineers & Technicians.
• Apply LEAN tools for problem solving, project & change management.
• Coach & train users of the BMS.
