Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an experienced engineer to maintain and improve the BMS system reliability in our Clayton, NC facilities. You will drive plans that align with customer, business and regulatory needs, focusing on people, equipment, and standards gatekeeping.

The role reports to the Facilities Engineering Manager and involves coaching engineers and technicians, adopting lean problem-solving methods, and coordinating with operations to meet production plans and IA projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of engineering and HVAC/utilities troubleshooting experience in pharmaceutical or bio-tech manufacturing facility.
Knowledgeable in Siemens BMS - Insight & Siemens Historian - InfoCenter; Proficient in MS Office applications & SAP preferred.
Customer/Results Driven; understands customer needs and prioritizes work to support them.

Responsibilities

Develop & execute plans to maintain & improve BMS system.
Schedule & execute plans in coordination with operations schedules.
Support IA projects & process improvement plans.
Develop & maintain system documents, including specifications & maintenance plans.
Coach & train Facility Engineers & Facility Maintenance Technicians.
Employ cLEAN® tools within problem solving, project & change management.
Coach & train users of the BMS.
