Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC seeks a Facilities Engineer to maintain and improve the BMS system, ensuring compliance with customer, business, and regulatory requirements. You will lead plans, IA projects, and training across facilities engineering teams.

The role emphasizes project management, Lean tools, and strong HVAC troubleshooting in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment with aseptic processing preferred. On-site work and collaboration with operations are core to this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with strong HVAC/utilities troubleshooting in pharma or biotech manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable in Siemens BMS - Insight & Siemens Historian – InfoCenter; MS Office and SAP preferred.
• Demonstrated planning/organization and project execution skills.
• Customer-driven mindset; understands internal/external customers and their needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plans to maintain and improve the BMS system.
• Develop IA project ideas and prepare PPM submittals.
• Schedule and execute plans in coordination with operations schedules.
• Support IA projects and process improvement plans.
• Develop and maintain system documents, including specifications and maintenance plans.
• Coach and train Facility Engineers and Facility Maintenance Technicians.
• Apply lean tools in problem solving, project and change management.
• Coach and train users of the BMS.
