Zusammenfassung

The Bistro Service Bartender will greet guests in the Bistro dining areas and provide world class beverage and food service for the duration of their visit. Duties will include: preparing beverages; processing orders; engaging guests; and coordinating service for assigned area(s).

Bartenders will deliver gracious hospitality and ensure all guests receive friendly, courteous and prompt service at all times following proscribed and established Biltmore service standards.

Qualifikationen

• Must obtain TIPS, ALE and related training.
• Minimum six months bartending experience; one year preferred.
• Basic math skills; ability to create/follow recipes using proper mixology techniques.
• Commitment to delivering world class guest service.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills; engage with diverse guests professionally.
• Proactive, good judgment; problem solving and anticipation of guest needs.
• Strong organizational skills; able to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Ability to learn about Biltmore, events, and Asheville area.

Aufgaben

• Serve food and beverages in a friendly, efficient manner according to standards.
• Keep bar and public areas neat, clean, and free of debris at all times.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and maintain positive guest relations.
• Resolve guest complaints/issues to standards, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Ensure area(s) are stocked, prepped, and set.
• Perform opening/closing duties as assigned.
• Create alcoholic beverages in a timely manner following approved recipes.
• Create espresso beverages in a timely manner, using equipment properly.
• Clean and organize back stock areas.
• Change half barrel kegs, lift cases of wine/beer, and other physical tasks.
