Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a part-time server to deliver gracious hospitality in a fine dining setting. The role requires up to 20 hours per week with shifts from late afternoon to late evening, including weekends.

You will coordinate table service, communicate with front and back of house, and uphold Biltmore's service standards to exceed guest expectations. Responsibilities include presenting wine, processing orders, and ensuring a spotless service environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 6+ months serving experience in fine dining/upscale setting, preferably at a multi-unit resort.
• Strong guest service mindset and ability to exceed expectations.
• Excellent guest relations and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Process guest orders accurately for timely preparation.
• Present, open, and pour wine when serving guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests.
• Total bills and handle payments or refer to supervisors.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and beverages; upsell accordingly.
• Integrate with POS system per guidelines.
• Ensure uniform is clean and proper; wear appropriate footwear.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Assist with bussing and table resets between courses.
• Complete side duties before shift end.
