Job summary

Repligen Corp is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to sell our upstream and downstream processing solutions across Massachusetts and greater New England. This home-office role reports to the Regional Sales Director and demands a proven biopharma sales record and strong territory management skills.

You will drive the opportunity pipeline, lead negotiations, grow strategic accounts, and move customers from lab scale to full process scale.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent (minimum).
• At least 5 years in biopharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
• Strong knowledge of cell culture, chromatography and filtration.
• Proven sales track record and key account management experience.
• Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with customers and partners.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales opportunities to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan with the District Sales Manager.
• Develop pipeline using a market leading CRM.
• Lead negotiations with technical and procurement teams.
• Establish and maintain strategic accounts.
• Develop and support customers from lab scale to full process scale.
• Share product/market/competitive information with relevant teams.
• Support the development of sales collateral and materials.
• Assist with forecasting, customer complaint handling and audits.
• Attend and follow up on trade shows.
