MilliporeSigma is seeking a technically skilled sales professional for the Mid-Atlantic region to drive downstream hardware and single-use systems opportunities. You’ll lead customer engagements, develop quotations, and negotiate terms with stakeholders while managing the sales cycle end-to-end.

You will guide cross-functional teams, present solutions, and own the territory target. A BS in a scientific/engineering field and 3–5 years of related experience are required, with travel 30–40%

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years related hands-on downstream purification experience in the biopharma industry.
• Experience with automated systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Biotech downstream processing.
• Good listening skills with the ability to analyze and respond quickly and effectively.
• Good presentation, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to represent our organization in front of clients.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and across boundaries.

Responsabilités

• Identify and convert new business opportunities in downstream hardware systems and services within your region.
• Manage the overall selling process and cycle in close relationship with business partners.
• Provide technical expertise and business acumen for complex investment projects.
• Act as a team leader for custom designed equipment and capital projects with decision-makers.
• Position portfolio, develop and present commercial and technical quotations, and negotiate terms.
• Be responsible for the territory sales target.
