Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a results-driven sales professional to expand our downstream hardware portfolio across the Midwest and Canada. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• 5+ years downstream purification experience in biopharma.
• Experience with automated systems.
• Extensive knowledge of biotech downstream processing.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to represent the organization in front of clients.
• Ability to work across boundaries and internationally.
• Ownership and initiative in work.

Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities for downstream hardware and services; manage full sales cycle.
• Lead custom equipment and capital projects; engage with decision makers.
• Develop and present commercial and technical quotations; negotiate terms.
• Achieve territory sales targets.
