Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Customer Service (Biometric Enrollment) Specialist to welcome and assist individuals pursuing legal immigration at the USCIS Application Support Center in Tampa. You will guide applicants through biometrics appointments with patience and compliance, providing front-line support as a representative of both Amentum and the U.S.

Government. The role is casual on-call with hours Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 4:15pm, paying $18.86 per hour under the SCA, with benefits

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand for shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp applicant’s hands for fingerprints.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment with the public.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants.
• Ensure ASC entry is restricted to approved applicants and visitors; assist with crowd control.
• Provide front-line customer service as a representative of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform biometrics processing: fingerprints, photographs, signatures within processing times.
• Screen applicants for valid appointment notice and ID for entry.
• Use barriers to maintain safe, organized facility entry.
• Maintain visitor control logs and related admin duties.
