Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Customer Service (Biometric Enrollment) Specialist at the USCIS Application Support Center in Tampa. You’ll greet applicants, guide them through the biometrics appointment, verify identities, and ensure a respectful, efficient experience for every visitor.

This part-time, hourly position falls under the Service Contract Act. Training is provided; benefits include retirement savings, health coverage options, and a 20-hour weekly schedule, typically Monday through Friday

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must speak and write in English.
• Able to stand for full shift and handle fingerprints.
• Able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Complete biometrics training and certification within 60 days.
• Experience with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration.
• Ensure ASC entrants are approved and manage crowd control.
• Provide front-line customer service as a representative of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform biometric processing: fingerprints, photographs, signatures within processing times.
• Maintain visitor logs and reconcile biometrics paperwork.
