Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Customer Service (Biometric Enrollment) Specialist to greet applicants pursuing legal immigration at a USCIS Application Support Center. You will guide them through biometrics, verify identities, and ensure smooth, respectful interactions while complying with site policies.

This is an On-Call, hourly position under the SCA with compensation detailed below. Training is provided, and benefits are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand upright for scheduled shift duration.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment with the public.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure all ASC entrants are approved applicants and visitors while enforcing ASC rules.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform biometric processing including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures within times.
• Screen applicants to verify appointment notice and ID for entry.
• Utilize crowd control barriers to ensure safe entry.
• Conduct facility checks and report concerns to Site Supervisor.
• Assist in calling local law enforcement or first responders when necessary.
• Manage and complete administrative paperwork and visitor logs.
