Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Customer Service (Biometric Enrollment) Specialist to welcome and assist individuals pursuing legal immigration at the USCIS Application Support Center. You will guide applicants through biometrics appointments, verifying identities, and maintaining a respectful, secure environment.

This casual on-call role supports site operations with flexible hours, requiring availability Mon-Fri from 7:45am to 4:15pm and adherence to SCA and health/welfare provisions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization (US Citizenship required).
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand upright on feet for scheduled shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp applicant’s hands to obtain quality fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Ensure all ASC entrants are approved applicants and visitors while providing crowd control and enforcing ASC rules.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the United States Government.
• Perform quality biometrics processing including fingerprints, photographs, and signatures.
• Screen applicants to ensure valid appointment notices and identification for entry.
• Utilize crowd control barriers to maintain safe, organized entry into the facility.
• Visually inspect applicants and belongings, especially during health crises, before entry.
• Conduct periodic facility checks and report concerns to Site Supervisor.
• Assist Site Supervisor or Immigration Service Officer in contacting local authorities when needed.
• Manage and complete administrative paperwork such as processing times, reconciliations, and visitor logs.
