Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Field Systems Engineer to service customers across Wisconsin and nationally, delivering best-in-class support with remote capability and occasional overnight travel. Responsibilities include installations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure instruments meet specifications, plus driving service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to ensure instruments meet specifications.
• Promote service agreements and identify sales opportunities.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Attend product training within the first year.
• Travel for customer visits with potential overnight stays and occasional national travel.
• Participate in weekend/holiday on-call rotation.
